Support Us

The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is a nonprofit arts organization that relies on the financial support of its community.

Donations help fund the Center’s activities and programs, and enable us to support the arts in our region and beyond. With your help, we can educate the next generation of printmakers and print enthusiasts, and continue our mission to support, preserve and advance the art of the original print.

The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is fully tax deductible and a donation acknowledgement form will be provided for your tax records.

General Donation

General donations support our operating costs, programs, exhibitions, and studio upkeep. They help keep access to our galleries free and open to the public.

Both recurring and one-time contributions are welcome. Thank you for your generousity!

MONOTHON Sponsorships

MONOTHON is our biggest annual fundraiser. It begins in the early Fall with Print Week, a “Marathon of Monotype” printmaking in which artists and master printers work together to create hundreds of original artworks. A selection of these prints are then included in the silent auction portion of our annual Benefit Auction and Party a month later.

Members of our community who want to support our MONOTHON Fundraiser without participating in Print Week themselves, can sponsor another artist’s session. This allows us to extend the opportunity to someone who might not otherwise be able to print with us. Thank you for your generosity!

Sponsorship levels are as follows:

  • Sponsor an Artist Print Session for $300
  • Sponsor a Youth Print Session for $150
  • Sponsor a Master Printer for $100
  • Provide Lunch for a Day During Print Week $75
  • Underwrite Supplies for a Print Session $50
  • Tip our Hardworking Staff (any amount)

Sponsors receive recognition in our Auction brochure, and all donations are tax deductible. Thank you!

Annual Appeal

Each December, we appeal to our community to include the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in their year-end giving.

If you have taken a workshop, enjoyed an exhibition in our gallery, or found a new appreciation for the vast creative world that is printmaking, we ask you to help us continue offering those experiences in the coming year.

Click here to view our Annual Report – a summary of this year’s projects and accomplishments, all of which are made possible by your continued support. Thank you!

The Grace Ross Shanley Fund

The Grace Ross Shanley Scholarship Fund was named in honor of the founder of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking. Grace Ross Shanley was a firm believer both in the importance of community and the need for ongoing education about printmaking.

The mission of this fund is to further the growth of artists and foster the next generation of printmakers. Programs supported by this fund include the High School Student Fellowship Program and the Artist-in-Residence Program
