Susie Salomon Community Outreach Fund
We are proud to announce the establishment of the Susie Salomon Community Outreach Fund, created to honor the memory of our dear friend, supporter, and longtime CCP member, Susie Salomon, who passed away in March 2025.
From the earliest days of Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Susie was a dedicated champion of the arts and an unwavering advocate for making creative opportunities accessible to all. She played an instrumental role in establishing MONOTHON, our annual fundraising event, and was especially passionate about supporting children, youth artists, and emerging creatives.
Susie believed that financial barriers should never prevent someone from experiencing the transformative power of art. Throughout her years with CCP, she worked tirelessly to ensure young people could participate in our programs by helping secure stipends for interns and covering registration fees for Youth MONOTHON participants. Her generosity opened doors for countless students and helped foster a more inclusive creative community.
In keeping with her vision and values, CCP has established the Susie Salomon Community Outreach Fund. This fund will help offset the cost of on-site workshops for schools, non-profit organizations, community groups, and underserved populations, ensuring that more individuals have access to high-quality printmaking education and hands-on artistic experiences.
Through this fund, Susie’s legacy will continue to inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection for years to come. Every workshop made possible through the Community Outreach Fund reflects her belief that art should be accessible, welcoming, and available to everyone.
