Enjoy an evening of art, community, and celebration at the beautiful Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan, featuring a silent auction, live auction, heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, and other beverages. Perspectives: America at 250

The Boston Printmakers present Perspectives: America at 250, a members-only, non-juried exhibition marking 250 years since American independence. This timely exhibition brings together new prints by Boston Printmakers members that reflect on the nation’s past, interrogate its present, and imagine its future through the democratic and historically resonant medium of printmaking.

A Founder’s Feast: Highlights from the Andrew Stasik Archive

LOCATION: Lithography Studio Gallery

Andrew Stasik (b. 1932) is an American printmaker, educator, and arts leader who helped found the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in 1995 alongside founders Grace Ross Shanley and Michael Costello.

A Founder’s Feast presents a selection of works from the archive, highlighting the recurring forms and motifs that appeared throughout his practice over many decades. Houses, flowers, vessels, and other familiar forms shift between abstraction and representation, reflecting his sustained exploration of color, shape, memory, and printmaking.
