Legendary Woodcut Printmaker and self-proclaimed “American Print Warlord” Tom Hück will teach a 5-day version of his infamous Woodcut Bootcamp at CCP this winter! The full 10-day Bootcamp takes place every summer in St. Louis, and fills up almost instantly. The Center for Contemporary Printmaking is thrilled to be able to bring a part of the mania to our studios in Norwalk, CT. Get ready to carve, carve, carve your hearts out. Space is limited!

The workshop will cover tool usage, printing techniques, block design and set up, all filtered through Tom Hück’s unique approach to imagery and carving.

We recommend participants have some experience working with relief printmaking, but they do not need to be woodcut experts!
