Opening Reception for A Founder’s Feast: Highlights from the Andrew Stasik Archive

Join us on Sunday, September 13 from 2–4 PM for the Opening Reception of A Founder’s Feast: Highlights from the Andrew Stasik Archive at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking.

This special exhibition celebrates the work of Andrew Stasik (b. 1932), an American printmaker, educator, and arts leader who helped found the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in 1995 alongside Grace Ross Shanley and Michael Costello. Drawing from the Andrew Stasik Archive, A Founder’s Feast presents a selection of prints spanning his decades-long practice, revealing the recurring forms and motifs that have continued to shape his artistic vocabulary.

Houses, flowers, vessels, and other familiar forms move fluidly between abstraction and representation, reflecting Stasik’s sustained exploration of color, shape, memory, and the possibilities of printmaking.

Come celebrate the opening of this exhibition and the enduring legacy of one of CCP’s founders. All are welcome!
