Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience while supporting the Center for Contemporary Printmaking’s goals as a non-profit. CCP accepts volunteers from all backgrounds and skillsets to aid our programming and other operations. Working individually with CCP staff, volunteers can be assigned to projects related to their interests and skillset to fit the needs of the organization.
Listed below are common volunteer tasks and types at CCP.

In an effort to support early career printmakers, CCP has established a Studio Monitor program to open up the studios to those who may not have the flexibility of time and cost to work within our traditional membership structure. To be involved, Studio Monitors are selected from our artist community and invited as volunteers at CCP for 16 hours a month, and in return, monitors receive membership benefits without the cost of becoming a member. Monitors may reserve studio time and work in the studios without incurring hourly studio fees. Hours currently consist of Saturdays and Sundays from 9 – 5, and we anticipate expanding into the weekday evenings with extended hours between 6 and 9 PM. During volunteer hours, monitors must be available for help and questions from gallery visitors and artists working in the studios as needed along with general studio upkeep and maintenance tasks. Monitors work closely with CCP’s Studio Manager to coordinate volunteer hours and activities to complete during their time here.
