Printing Sessions:

Artists’ Printing Sessions, Sunday, September 29 – Saturday, October 5
Youth Monothon, (ages 11-18), Sunday, October 20
MONOTHON2019 provides the opportunity for artists to work with Master Printers in an art-intensive, five-hour session to create original monotypes. Each Monothon artist is assisted by a Master Printer and a Press Assistant. All materials are provided; artists may create up to ten prints during each session.  Cost per session is $250. For two back-to-back sessions for the  same artist on the same day, the fee is $450.

Artist participating in a Monothon session during the printmaking week receive:

  • Up to 10 sheets of high-quality paper
  • Inks, knives, palettes, plates, rollers, brushes, solvents, and paper towels
  • The expertise and assistance of a Master Printer
  • Snack, beverages, and lunch of dinner
  • Clean-up assistance by our volunteer Press Assistants
  • One complimentary pass to the Auction + Party on Saturday, November 9th.

At the end of a session, one print from each artist is selected for exhibition and sale at the MONOTHON2019 Auction + Party, the celebration that is the culmination of the monotype marathon this year. The artist retains their remaining prints. All proceeds from MONOTHON2019 (printing session and Auction) support CCP’s programs and activities.
