MONOTHON 2022

The Center for Contemporary Printmaking invites you to participate in MONOTHON 2022!

Each year the Center for Contemporary Printmaking hosts MONOTHON: a two-part celebration of monotype printmaking and CCP’s largest fundraising effort. Now in its twenty-second year, MONOTHON kicks off October 16, opening our schedule to artists booking 5 hour intensive monotype printing sessions through October 22. A selection of prints created during the printing sessions will then be included in our Online Auction via GiveSmart scheduled for November 13-20.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

PRINT AT CCP

MONOTHON2022 provides the opportunity for artists to work with Master Printers in art-intensive, five-hour sessions to create original monotypes. Each MONOTHON artist is assisted by a Master Printer and a Press Assistant. All materials are provided; artists may create up to ten prints during each session.

At the end of a session, one print from each artist is selected for exhibition and sale at the MONOTHON2022 Silent Auction, the culminating event of the monotype marathon this year. The artist retains their remaining prints. Prints chosen for exhibition and sale become the property of CCP. All proceeds from MONOTHON2022 (printing sessions and Auction) support CCP’s programs and activities
