Betty was born in Charleston, West Virginia. After moves to Texas, Rhode Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn, she now lives and works in Connecticut. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and has been working as a designer and fine artist ever since. Betty brings her design influences to work in fine art compositions capturing the light and color in the world around her. She works in a variety of media including painting, drawing and printmaking. Her works are held in private and corporate collections; and have been exhibited in the United States, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland and Spain. She works out of her Connecticut studio and the studios at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking.
