Participants in this unique workshop will be introduced to the versatile world of monotypes utilizing a screenprint mesh as the surface to work on. By using watercolor paints and water-soluble crayons, you can create drawings and paintings with a freeness and spontaneity not present in other monotype techniques. During the workshop, participants will learn basic screenprinting fundamentals such as registration and color blending. The materials and process are essentially non-toxic and suitable for novices and advanced printmakers alike.
