This session is considered a Monothon Printing Session which includes all paper, ink, materials and lunch; participants will also be working with master printers to create a body of work in which one piece will be selected to be a part of our Monothon Auction and Party. Participants will be using the same processes as Degas by studying and printing from a nude model. Nomi Silverman, artist and printmaker, will assist participants in creating monotypes from life. Explore the versatile nature of monotype by printing and reworking ghost impressions to achieve depth of color and composition. Oil and water based printing are welcome.

NOMI SILVERMAN studied at the Art Students League of New York and the National Academy of Design. She is an experienced printmaker with numerous awards from the National Academy of Design, the National Arts Club, and others. Her work is widely exhibited.
