INTAGLIO ALTERNATIVES

Instructor: Christopher Shore

In this online demonstration webinar we will explore three non-toxic intaglio processes; Drypoint, Carborundum Aquatint and Carborundum Mezzotint. These non-acid, non-toxic approaches to traditional intaglio printmaking allow for direct mark making and a variety of aesthetic results.  Through demonstrations on platemaking and printing, participants will learn how to approach these techniques to create expressive prints.  No experience required and printing with and without a press will be covered.
