Open tomorrow 9am-5pm

Instructor: Liz Bannish
January 12, 14, 19 & 21, 2021, 1:00 – 2:30 PM EST
$100 Members and Non-members

Instructor Liz Bannish will be de-mystifying the process of lithography and to show participants working from home that litho is a phenomenon unattached to fancy equipment. In this experimental online workshop, Liz will be instructing on how to produce paper and Xerox lithographs, pronto plate lithographs, apply multi-color registration, and hand printing. In this, participants will learn the details of lithography logic and process, discover a little lithography history, and use the tips and tricks described within in their own practice, whether from home or in a printmaking studio.

This online workshop will have multiple sessions that build on each other, starting from basic concepts, to plate creation, and printing. Participation can be flexible; students are encouraged, but not required, to follow along outside of class. These sessions will include live demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and the opportunity to discuss each other’s work at the end of the session, if participants wish. A suggested materials list with vendor information will be supplied  within appropriate time to place orders if desired.

Please note, this is a 4 part class, taking place on 4 different days via Zoom.
