EXPOSURE-LESS SILKSCREEN

Instructor: Roni Henning
October 22, 29, and November 5, 2020, 2:00 – 3:30 PM EST
$150 Members and Non-members

Learn how to make bold, unique Silkscreen prints with these three simple techniques without the need for photographic equipment and exposure units. All the materials and inks are water-based, making this a great option for printmakers working from a home studio. The first session, Roni Henning will demonstrate and show examples of hand cut stencil printing and manipulation of colors. The second session will be dedicated to painting positive images on screens using drawing fluid and screen filler to create painterly images. The last session will focus on the technique of Reduction printing.  All three methods can be easily combined to make more complex prints without photosensitive emulsions or exposure units.
