  while highlighting his role as the pioneer of Sol
 arplate printmaking\, a safer\, more sustainable a
 lternative to traditional etching and relief techn
 iques.</p>\n \n <p>The screening takes place the e
 vening before Welden’s sold-out CCP workshop <em>P
 rintmaking in the Sun: Solarplates</em>. All are w

 r grant\, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the A/
 E Foundation\, and the title of Professor Emeritus
